Pastor Harley Wheeler
Pastor Harley, an Elder of the Global Methodist Church, has served seven pastoral charges in his 33 years of ministry. He was born in Columbus, Ohio, graduated from Eastmoor High School, earned a Degree in Business from Franklin University, and a Master of Divinity degree from the Methodist Theological School in Ohio in 1991. Harley began work in New Philadelphia in 2020, following the retirement of Rev. Mick Foster. He and his wife, Cindy, have nine children and five grandchildren.

Leadership Style
In preaching, he is scripture-based and uses stories to connect the truth of God to life. He counsels all Christians to seek to live, love, work and witness with Christ as the source of all they do. In his role as administrator of a church, he leads by consensus and trusts the leadership.

Tammy Beavers
Administrative Assistant
Tammy Beavers has been the Administrative Assistant of Broadway since July 2011. She is an energetic, enthusiastic woman of God.
On a Sunday morning you will find her warmly greeting everyone she sees and teaching our children that the Bible isn’t boring, we can have fun on Sunday mornings. She leads our Mom’s Group. If you need to know anything about Broadway, Tammy is always here to help.
Tammy and her husband Wil live in Dover. They have two children, Jake and Deidre and one grand daughter, Charleston (Charlie).
Kathy Gibson
Wesleyan Choir Director
Kathy Gibson grew up at Broadway and has been a member since 1964. She is married to Don and has two sons, Bill and Steve, and three grandchildren. Kathy started singing in the choir when she was a child and has been the Wesleyan Choir Director since 1996. She is also the song leader for the 8:30 traditional worship service and Worship Committee chairperson. She loves the Lord and many types of Christian music. Her favorite hymns include “How Great Thou Art” and “Because He Lives”, but there are many more!
Kayleigh Rowland
Children’s Director
I am so excited to be the new Director of Children’s Ministry here at Broadway Church. I have been attending Broadway for 20+ years and have always felt led to be in this position from a young age. My husband, Kyle, and I have two children, Amelia and Clyde. I can’t wait to start working with your children and helping them grow in the Lord. I am excited to bring new things to our program and developing lasting relationship with our children. I have been in many different roles here regarding our children’s program, so I feel like I can bring many pieces to the game and help to grow and strengthen our program!
